1. Gilchrist's King Pair

In March, 2001, Epic battle took place between India and Australia in Test in Eden Gardens. The famous memories when VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid batted the full day and stitched an epic partnership that laid the foundation for one of India’s greatest Test wins in the Kolkata Test against Australia. One more moment that took there which Gilchrist doesn't want to Remember . He got out on very first ball in both the innings , second inning dismissal was really crucial as Kangaroos were cruising towards the target.



2. Elgar's Debut Duck Pair

Elgar made his test debut against Australia on 30 November 2012 and scored a duck in his maiden test innings. He followed this with another duck in the second innings to complete a pair of ducks on debut. Though South Africa won the match comfortably by 309 runs.


3. Cook's Duck in His 100th Test Match

England Former Test skipper Alastair Cook is an unlikely name on this list. Cook played his 100th Test in the 2013 Ashes series down under. Despite scoring a decent 72 in the first innings, he was cleaned up by Ryan Harris in the second innings. The duck in the saw the Brits lose the second Test. The Ashes 2013 is famous for Mitchell Johnson as he tore the English apart, thus securing a 5-0 win and the Ashes.

4. Dhoni's Debut Duck

This is a famous duck for sure . MS Dhoni , the man known for his fortunes who turned India Cricket's fortunes also , got out on a first ball of his international career. He made only 19 runs on the tour in 3 matches. He kept on marching back at a brisk pace after getting out everytime with the same expression and he still does the same, he walks out the same way no matter he scores a big ton or gets out on zero. 5. Don Bradman's Final Inning Duck

Don Bradman's last ever Test innings ends with a duck, bowled second ball by Eric Hollies at the Oval.Bradman scored 19 centuries in Ashes Tests, seven more than any other batsman, and finished with a Test batting average of 99.94. He'd needed just four runs for an average of 100. This dismissal left everyone stunned for decades.
